Three-step process

FROM INTAKE TO A DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Step 01

Parent consultation

Share your athlete’s age, sports, experience, current training, goals, challenges and desired outcomes. Discuss injuries, limitations or accommodations privately with staff.

Step 02

Athlete evaluation

Coaches observe acceleration, lateral movement, balance, coordination, strength fundamentals, reaction and agility after the introductory workout.

Step 03

Recommended plan

Staff recommends a group, training priorities, attendance frequency and goals for the next 4–6 weeks.

What would you most like your child to improve? What challenges have you noticed during sports? What would successful development look like?
Five-point coaching scale

HOW COACHES TRACK PROGRESS

Scores describe movement observed during training. They are developmental coaching observations. Coaches may reassess athletes about every 4–6 weeks using the same movement standards.

1 Needs guided practice
Requires step-by-step instruction to complete the movement.
2 Emerging
Completes parts of the movement with frequent cues.
3 Developing
Completes the basic movement with occasional cues.
4 Consistent
Executes independently with control across repeat reps.
5 Applies under challenge
Maintains control with an added cue or appropriate challenge.
